Simple instructions for a simple house
Mark Stephen Chenail has simple down to earth instructions for building a basic house. He makes it sound very doable. Even has a simple way of making a barn.
Hello, I have a new website in Connecticut and am trying to promote it online. I would like to pay you to be included as a link on your site. I was wondering what you would charge per year for this. Please let me know either way My email is ickyb397 -at- yahoo com.
I think simple house designing is fast now because the people did not likes simple house designing. But the advantages of simple house are not so expensive and secondly the completion of house is earlier.
I think this time is advanced and there are many people does not like simple things because anyone want new trend.I think it is a main example of real estate market and property.
Is there a simple way to build a house? I don't think it is as easy as 1,2,3.
If you're still in the thinking stage of what kind of design to go for why not try Google Sketch Up? If you're not too familiar with CAD this is a simple enough program that you can draft some designs in. http://sketchup.google.com/
After you've got an idea of what design you want then you've got the hard task of choosing a good architect and a residential building contractor. There's lots of residential building contractors and architects to choose from. You could start by looking through the Yahoo Directory.
Informative and interesting stuff, just want to greet you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous New Year! looking forward for any updates this coming year!
I love the smaller houses. Do we really need 3,000 square feet for a family of 3 or 4? You end up spending 90% of your time in about 20% of the house anyway. Kudos on the post.
These articles are fantastic, the information you show us is interesting for everybody and is really good written. It’s just great!! Thanks for sharing..
Love your blog! I too love stone houses. Some recent rock and concrete work I've had to do has rekindled my desire for a stone house. I've done slipform garden walls, but they are more work than just laying up the stone. They also cost more because of the forms; you have to be able to turn two corners and the whole wall in between at once. Then you still have to fix and point the gaps in the wall afterwards. So I'm thinking of building a house just by laying up the stone without forms. I'm going to practice first on a little shed/chicken coop/ greenhouse building and see how it goes first before making a final decision about doing a whole house that way.

What a fantastic idea. :) It may be simple, but it's helpful for people who are looking for plans for their new house. I wonder where he got his inspiration for his works. I like how the living room and kitchen were designed.
I am following your blog regularly and got great information. I really like the tips you have given. Thanks a lot for sharing. Will be referring a lot of friends about this. Keep blogging krk realty
